owenOWEN FUTERAN was educated at Herzlia School and obtained a BA LLB from the University of Cape Town. He passed the Israel Bar Exams after organising for the Bar course to be conducted in Cape Town. He has been Chairman of the Western Province Zionist Youth Council, Chairman of Bnei Akiva Cape Town, Chairman of the Western Province Zionist Council and National Vice Chairman of the South African Zionist Federation, Chairman of the United Herzlia Schools, Chairman of South African Jewish Board of Deputies (Cape Council) and National Vice Chairman of the SA Jewish Board of Deputies.
