VIVIENNE ANSTEY, Director of Midrasha
Adult Education Institute
Viv Anstey is the Director of the Midrasha Adult Education Institute incorporating the Florence Melton School of Adult Jewish Learning and serves on the Cape SA Jewish Board of Deputies; she is founding member of Limmud South Africa. More…
VICTOR BOYD, Financial Administrator
Victor Boyd matriculated at Wynberg Boys High and graduated from UCT as a chartered accountant. He also obtained a CPA degree in Israel. Victor is currently retired although he consults to small business enterprises and is treasurer for various Jewish communal organisations. Sport is one of his passions and he plays bowls and golf, and has been referee and umpire for rugby, tennis and bowls.
CINDY MORITZ, Media
Cindy Moritz was educated at Herzlia School and Rhodes University where she obtained a B.Journ. She worked briefly in television production, but has spent most of her career in print and online media, writing and editing. A perpetual Melton student, she has combined her media know-how with her commitment to Jewish learning.
LAUREN SNITCHER, Marketing and Recruitment
Lauren graduated as a BA.LLB(UCT) and worked as an attorney in Cape Town. After having two daughters, she did alternative healing courses in Massage, Reflexology and Body Alignment and worked as a registered practitioner. When her children were older she began to pursue her life long passion in Jewish education and after completing the Melton Course in 2008, jumped at the opportunity to assist Viv in the area of recruitment and admin. As part of her interest in her Jewish Heritage and as a descendant of an Ochberg orphan, she undertook extensive research and travel, resulting in the creation of an Oscar short-listed documentary movie, “Ochberg’s Orphans”.
