MORE INFORMATION: FOUNDATIONS

Would you like to be able to confidently transmit Jewish Values down the generations ?

Would you like to be more informed, educated and empowered to teach young children the soul and essence of Judaism in a way that is fun, authentic and relevant?

Do you feel your own Jewish knowledge could be improved?

Come join Melton in 10 sessions of Conscious Parenting through a Jewish lens with Aviva Thurgood. 5 sessions in Term 2 and 5 sessions in Term 3.

Thursdays 13H30-15H00, with childcare free of charge at a venue to be disclosed on registration.

Whether it be the chaggim (upcoming Pesach, Shavuot) or essential Jewish values ( Respect, How we engage with Israel, How we relate to those who are not well, How we treat others, how we help others, how we create Jewish space and more), Jewish Wisdom has something of eternal relevance to teach us.

Leaning heavily on Wendy Mogul’s book “Blessings of a skinned knee”, this course encourages participation, comments, questions and shared experiences.

Learning from each other, we discover we are not alone in any of the challenges of teaching and bringing up children and we derive great comfort, strength and support from one another.

Please join us and encourage others to join you in this journey as well. This course lends itself particularly well to  parents and grandparents learning together.
