natalie

NATALIE BARNETT has completed almost every Cape Town Melton course offered to date, and is also an involved board member. Although she has a BSc in Zoology and worked at Foschini, her passion is education.

Natalie has taught Art and Ceramics, developed and implemented a School Readiness Program for Ikamva Labantu — where she’s also a trustee — and is an accredited HIV/Aids storyteller. She volunteered as educator at the CT Holocaust Centre and coordinated their Brundibár Project, which focused on overcoming prejudice. She is a vice-chair of the United Herzlia Schools Committee and heads the Jewish Life and Learning portfolio. Mostly, she’s a committed and enthusiastic mother.
